Softer water.
Starting at your sink.
San Antonio's water runs 15 to 20 grains hard. A free 30-minute test at your kitchen sink shows what's in yours, and what, if anything, is worth doing about it.
Free. No obligation. If your water's fine, we'll say so.

Two problems.
Two simple fixes.
Scale on your fixtures and the taste of your drinking water come from different things. Most homes only need one fix; some want both. The test tells you which.

Softer and cleaner water, every faucet
A softener removes the calcium and magnesium that leave scale on glass, faucets and inside your water heater.

Drinking water you like
An under-sink reverse osmosis system gives you a separate faucet for drinking, cooking and coffee.
Less scale.
Fewer spots.
Water you enjoy.
Hard water leaves a trail you can see. If any of this looks familiar, a 30-minute test tells you exactly how hard your water is.

Honest about what we can measure.
An in-home test is great for hardness and everyday water quality. Some things need a certified lab, and we'll tell you which.
Look up what your utility reports ↗We measure
- Hardness
- Chlorine
- pH
- Iron
- Total dissolved solids
A lab measures
- Lead
- PFAS
- Bacteria
Good decisions start with your number.
Approximate hardness from public utility data for the towns we serve. Your home can read higher or lower, which is why we test at your sink.
*Assumes 300 gallons a day. 7,000 grains = 1 lb. Hardness: city water quality reports and public utility data, 2024–2026; approximate.

Common questions.
Is the water test really free?
Yes. No charge and no obligation to buy anything.
How long does it take?
About 30 minutes at your kitchen sink, plus however long you want for questions.
How much does water treatment cost?
It depends on your water, your home and your household. After the test you'll get a written quote for your home, with as much time as you want to decide.
Do you work with well water?
Yes. Well water often carries iron, sulfur, manganese, and tannins along with hardness, and the test checks for iron.
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. We work with homeowners, including owners of rental properties.
Can I see what's in my water before the test?
Yes. Search your ZIP code on the EWG Tap Water Database to see what your water utility has reported. Homes on private wells won't be listed, and your tap can differ from the utility average, which is why we test at your sink.
